Yipes said the new POP reflects its commitment to growing its world-class Global Area Network (GAN) infrastructure in support of enterprises migrating to a global Ethernet services platform that supports critical voice, data and video.

The POP, expected to be operational in Q3, will be located in the 350,000-square-foot MEGA i-Advantage Data Center in Chai Wan, one of the largest data centers in the world. In June, Yipes announced service expansion into London with a new POP at TeleCity, Europe’s leading independent data center provider.
