International Yipes POP Helps Deliver Scalable 1 Gbps Connectivity

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – June 22, 2005 – Yipes Enterprise Services, Inc. (www.yipes.com), the pioneer in managed, end-to-end Ethernet solutions, today announced it has established an international point-of-presence (POP) in London. With Yipes, enterprises are migrating to a global Ethernet services platform that supports critical voice, data and video applications.  

Yipes said that this POP represents an important expansion of its Global Area Network (GAN) infrastructure, and reflects the Company’s accelerating efforts to meet the expanding connectivity needs of the global marketplace. Worldwide revenue from Ethernet services was $2.5 billion last year. Michael Howard, principal analyst for Infonetics Research Inc., stated, “ The market will grow 276 percent between 2005 and 2009 to $22.2 billion.”
