SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – March 9, 2005 – Yipes Enterprise Services, Inc. (www.yipes.com), the pioneer in managed, end-to-end Ethernet solutions, today announced the appointments of Howard Warner to the position of vice president of corporate development, and Keao Caindec to the post of vice president of marketing.

 

Warner and Caindec represent the latest additions to complete the Yipes senior leadership team, under the direction of CEO John Scanlon who joined the Company in September of 2004.

 

Warner will focus on all aspects of corporate and business development, including strategic vendor negotiations. He will also continually evaluate the competitive landscape of the Company’s markets and oversee day-to-day legal operations.

 

Caindec’s role includes overall responsibility for Yipes' marketing strategy and related operations, including product marketing and management, partner marketing and corporate marketing communications.

With more than 15 years of business development, operations and legal experience, Warner provides a strong, proven and stable presence for the leadership team. Prior to joining Yipes, he was the founder and chief executive officer of Vado, a professional information technology resource enablement business. He has also worked for Cotelligent, an IT consulting and services business, where he was Vice President of Professional Services, overseeing a $200 million practice, responsible for the integration of over 25 acquired companies. Warner also spent seven years at MCI in various operations, finance and legal roles.

Caindec joins Yipes after successfully founding Farallon Technology Resources, Inc., a San Francisco-based consulting firm focused on helping clients select and implement network-based emerging technologies and services. Prior to his work with Farallon Technology, Caindec was the executive director of alliance development for Internap Network Services Corp., and held various senior marketing positions at BT North America and MCI.
