The Carrier Commercial Manager (CCM) is part of a global team and is responsible for managing the relationships of telco suppliers that form part of the “costs of sales” associated with customer opportunities.
The CCM will manage a number of suppliers ensuring that they support our business activities with regards to being competitive and enabling us to provide an excellent level of service to our customers. The role requires extensive interaction with Global and Domestic suppliers and requires commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities :
To ensure that RGCL is purchasing services competitively within your region
Locally manage a specific number of key carrier relationships & territories
Assist procurement from regional and local carriers.
Identify new suppliers in the region and follow the RGCL Supplier Approval process to get the suppliers on board
Own the “RGCL spend” with your assigned carriers on COGS and its distribution regionally per product
Own the re-terming process of RGCL lines with your carriers
Own the inventory of lines RGCL has with each assigned carrier
Own the Data Collection of “Price Books” from assigned carriers
Own the Data Integrity of the “Price Book Data” carriers provide to RGCL
Assist in setting up the operational processes between RGCL and the carriers
Own the ordering and cessation process between RGCL and the carriers
Detailed understanding of the contractual commercial agreements between RGCL and your carriers, including SLA’s
Communication and Measurement of Carrier Service performance
Be proactive with regards to carrier selection, product and market information
Any other duties the company may reasonably assign to you from time to time.
Provide support on supplier escalations
Provide analysis and reporting on your supplier spend and cost reduction activities

Qualification & Experience :
BE / MBA
Experience(Min. years)
5-10 years
Candidate Specification :
Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily business activities
Results focused and the ability to deliver requirements against tight deadlines
Very good knowledge of telecom products and suppliers
Significant experience in commercial sourcing
Should have handled Contract Management / negotiations in the past
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Other language(s) specially Chinese and German would be beneficial
Technical/Functional Skills : ( Use "E" to denote Essential and "D" for Desirable)
