Job Title Team Lead - Commercial

Position Reporting to (Role) Finance Controller-Voice and NLD
Location NaviMumbai,India

Role Summary :

  • Overseeing Contract management part for commercial clauses
  • Ensuring regulatory and tax compliances for various reliance overseas entities
  • Ensuring timely MIS publication.
  • Monthly Accounts Closing activities
  • Revenue Assurance Activities for Global Voice
  • Ensuring Timely payment to Vendors for Rent, Network , administration, legal and commercial, etc.
  • Obtaining approval from Management for various busniess proposals which may come up from time to time.
  • Overseeing timely bid working and submissions for MTNL/BSNL outbound traffic.
  • CAPEX approvals from the management.
  • Co-ordinating with oversees teams for various issues concerning accounting, tax and regulatory compliances.
  • Overseeing rates and volume commitment deal approvals for inbound/outbound traffic.
  • Overseeing timely availability and uploading of budget under various GL Codes and appropriate fund centers.
  • Commercial support for Retail products
  • Ensuing timely completion of audits (including statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, special audit (eg: DOT audit), if any.
  • Ensuring timely release of Hubbing rates to the Sales Account Managers by the product team.
Duties and Responsibilities :
  • Overseeing contract/agreement validations for commercial clauses.
  • Ensuring regulatory and tax compliances for RCUK, RCHK, RCSG, RCI, RCII and any other Reliance overseas entity.
  • Ensuring MIS preparation and release as per deadline set by the management.
  • Completion of month-end/quarter-end/Half-yearly and yearly account closing.
  • Revenue Assurance activities for Global Voice Business.
  • Overseeing timely payments of rent, network related expenses, admin, legal professional & mar com expenses.
  • Obtaining approval from management on various business proposals that may come up from time to time.
  • Overseeing accurate and timely bid submission to BSNL and MTNL.
  • Overseeing timely CAPEX approvals from the management.
  • Co-ordinating with oversees teams in US & UK for various issues concerning accounting, tax and regulatory compliances.
  • Commercially validate Rate & Volume Commitment deals
  • Overseeing timely availability and uploading of budget under various GL Codes and appropriate fund centers.
  • Commercial support for Retail products
  • Ensuing timely completion of audits (including statutory audit, internal audit, tax audit, special audit (eg: DOT audit), if any.
  • Ensuring timely release of Hubbing rates to the Sales Account Managers by the product team.

Qualification & Experience :

Educational / Academic Qualification B.Com ,Preferably CA or ICWA or MBA Finance
Experience(Min. years) 2-5 years

Candidate Specification :
    Possess rich experience in wholesale voice commercial function in any reputed Telecom Company. Total 15 years experience out of which at least 4- 8 years to be in Telecom
Technical/Functional Skills: ( Use “E” to denote Essential and “D” for Desirable)
  • E-Experience in SAP Finance Module.
  • E - Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Power Point.
  • E - Knowledge of finalisation of Accounts
  • D - Knowledge of MS Access tool and Macro
